Why did you start your Etsy shop?
I have always bought stuff from Etsy and love the diverse range of products on offer. There are so many creative makers and artists and I wanted to be part of that and sell my products through Etsy.
Where do you make your items?
I have a studio in my garden.
How did you come up with the name for your Etsy shop?
I have always been obsessed with Orcas and their freedom in the wild and I thought it would make a great name for a business one day.
Where were you when you made your first sale on Etsy?
It was during lockdown and I remember feeling really happy that I was taking my business to the next level by selling online. It was a strange time in everyone’s lives and it gave me hope that good things were happening with my little pottery business.
How do you spend your down-time?
I have two kids, a husband, a cat and dog, so I don’t have a lot of down-time, but when I’m not making pottery, and can grab some me-time, I love listening to music, writing short stories, watching movies and TV shows and having a few drinks here and there.
