Why did you start your Etsy shop?
I was looking for a way to channel my creative voice and my love of art and illustration with my passion for pretty, premium paper products. The necessity of working flexibly and for myself meant that Etsy was the most natural way for me to begin this venture.
How did you come up with the name for your Etsy shop?
Paper & Palm centres around my love of stationery and paper products, which I have long had an affinity for, dating back to childhood! The 'Palm' references my mixed Mediterranean ethnicity which continually influences my designs and brand ethos as a whole.
How do you spend your down-time?
Much of my down-time is spent visiting some much-loved local ponies. Being outside -usually with my little Chihuahua - walking to and from this particular Sussex beauty spot is where the ponies reside, is always a much-needed and fulfilling break from working.
What’s your favourite part of being an Etsy seller?
The convenience of working flexibly and for myself is an important part of my business, alongside the gratification of delivering my products to happy customers globally. I have also found huge value in the connections made with the Brighton Etsy community.
