Why did you start your Etsy shop?
My mum had an interior design business, through this I gained a love of fabrics and design. I find it very satisfying making items by hand, turning pieces of fabric into something to decorate and brighten up your home.
Where do you make your items?
I have a small studio at home in Brighton, looking out onto a patio garden, where I can watch our cat sunbathing while I work.
What’s your favourite part of being an Etsy seller?
I like the ease of managing the shop online, it has an easy-to-use interface and I enjoy the interactions with customers.
How did you come up with the name for your Etsy shop?
Foxes and birds feature frequently in the fabrics I use and I love a bit of alliteration!
Where were you when you made your first sale on Etsy?
I think I was probably at the Brighton Open Market, where I started out on a market stall.
